Canamera Classic
The 15th Annual Canamera Classic will take place on the evening of November 21, 2009 at the beautiful Delta Ocean Pointe Resort and Spa. What started out as a staff christmas party which also raised funds for local charity with only 15 employees and family members has grown into a Black Tie event for more than 250 guests. Since 1993 Canamera Refrigerated Transport and our supporters have raised over $340,000.00 for the BC Children's Hospital, Victoria General Hospitals Infant Special Care Nursery, and Juvenille Type 1 Diabetes Research. We are proud to announce that 100% of all funds go directly to the charities.
As a local transportation company, we work and live within this community and look to other local businesses and citizens to assist us with donations of items for our Silent and Live Auction. Several other sponsership opportunities are available such as sponsering our entertainment, purchasing a table at our event or joining us as a guest. Many companies each year purchase tables making them a staff party which allows all to enjoy a fun and gratifying night out by helping to support our local Children's Hospitals.
This years event is a traditional old style "Mardi Gras" inspired celebration which should indulge all senses with extraordinary food, a vibrant decor and fabulous entertainment. The music of S. George Brown a member of the legendary "Trooper" who has embarked on a new career as well one of the best cover bands in North America "Monkey Wrench" will make you want to dance the night away. We encourage you to wear your favorite Carnival inspired mask or purchase one of our elegant masks made by local artists at the event. Participate on our great balloon pop with a chance to win a trip for (2) anywhere in North America, and enjoy many other evening activities.
As a sponser you and or your business will be listed in our programs as well as on signage at the event. We will put business cards and small promotional items beside your donated items. Sponsers who donate over $1000.00 will have their company logos on all printed material, media releases and will be mentioned throughout the evening by our Master of Ceremony.
Only with your gracious support will this years event be a success, allowing us to provide the equipment and funds needed at our Children's hospitals to ensure the children of our communities have a bright healty future.
